Today I have done absolutely nothing. Or at least I have tired to do stuff but due to my dodgy stomach this morning I didn’t manage to go out and get the forms sorted and due to crappy DNS and other such problems I haven’t managed to get any theme work done.
I have watched couple of movies though. Xmen 2(for about the 3rd time) and Full Metal Jacket with director Stanley Kubrick. I haven’t got much to say about the film as I kept on popping in and out to see if my DNS was working – (it wasn’t) so I have nabbed a quote from IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093058/plotsummary
A two-segment story that follows young men from the start of recruit training in the Marine Corps to the lethal cauldron known as Vietnam. The first segment follows Joker (Modine), Pyle (D’Onofrio) and others as they progress through the hell of USMC boot-camp at the hands of the colorful, foul-mouthed Gunnery Sergeant Hartman (Ermey). The second begins in Vietnam, near Hue, at the time of the Tet Offensive. Joker, along with Animal Mother (Baldwin), Rafterman (Howard) and others, face threats such as ambush, booby traps, and Viet Cong snipers as they move through the city.

This weekend has been a good one. On Friday night after scouts Steve and I went round to buddy’s house and drank and talked into the small hours of the morning. Talking about general stuff and reminiscing about Gambia and other things.
On Saturday night it was Planks 21st birthday so – we went to a Chinese restaurant in Beckingham - where I managed to brake a chopstick in half and also manage to spend all my money. We then went to O’neils where the price of a pint was high as per normal.

I have been complaining for a while about the cost of the bus ticket £1.50 for one way is far too much. As soon as I get the money I am going to go and buy an oyster card because they are cheaper – I just don’t like the way that people can track where I have been.
I have also been trying to fix my theme so it looks “nice” so fare I am not having any luck – any ideas? Use the theme switcher to switch to rounded dark theme, its under live development so it may be broken .
I have also recently added more shelving space on my wall near my desk and am currently trying to rearrange things a bit but am not having any luck.

New Theme - Rounded Dark V 0.1.0
Well – I am soon going to be releasing the first of the rounded series of themes – possibly some time during this week as soon as I have gotten all the little bugs ironed out – you can use the theme switcher on the right to view the other themes that I have done – MumblesBlue and MumblesBlueexpanded which I will soon be re-releasing with a few updates as soon as I have finished the Rounded series.
Edit - I have now desicded that i dont like the theme after all. well not right now. so im going to start work on another theme and then work on it later.

Well as most of you should know by now I am part of the scouting movement, specialty part of the Bromley Network. As part of this we do lots (and help out at) activates around different parts of the country. Robot wars (last weekend) The Moonwalk and various others.
This weekend we took part in a night activity called the Foresters Hike. It involved walking 16 odd miles in and around the Ashdown forest starting off at 7:00pm in the evening and finishing at 7:00am the following day. Along the way there where various bases which tested out scouting skills, such as first aid, map reading, knot skills and various others.
Along the way round the course we passed though or round or over, a graveyard , a badger, rivers, mud, llama farms (I think), 3 pubs(which where shut) and lots of other things as well.
I managed to make it the entire way round due to having lots of sleep the night before, lots of chocolate and my mp3 player on random. The injuries I got going round are 4 blisters due to very old hiking boots and general muscle pain in my legs due to the exercise.
The only noticeable thing that happened was having a shotgun waved at us. (Well not waved but still…) we where going along a disused railway when we came across a cross junction which we needed to turn left and then right a bit further along. We where walking down the path which was going along some guys driveway when we couldn’t find the turning on the right. So I was sent ahead to scout for the turning and a guy jumped out from behind a tree. “What are you doing on my property? Get out this is privet land.” “Sorry we may be a bit lost; I am looking for a pathway to the right. Is this privet drive?” “No this is privet property get out before I call the police.” Or words to that effect. So 3 of us walk up the path to see if we went wrong (and to stay away from any trouble) and 2 people stay behind.
We head up the path to find out that there is a public right of way sign heading down his drive, we stay there waiting for the others to come backup but I get a call on my mobile saying “come on down, we will tell you what happened”.
We head down to find them standing on a bridge. Apparently the guy wouldn’t tell the 2 where the pathway was and called the police instead. The shotgun got involved when his wife came out with it under her arm cocked, or at least unbroken. So we hang about for about ¾ of an hour waiting and in that time another group showed up. So when the police came we explained what had happened and they went up to the house. They came back and said that the guy wouldn’t even tell them where the pathway was until they asked again. And that the guys shotgun licence is going to be evoked because his wife shouldn’t have access to the weapon/s.
The Turnip A team came 3rd and the B team came 1st so we keep the trophy for another year.
I am going to add pictures of various stuff when I have the pictures.

For the past week and a bit i have either been working on the robot wars stuff, or trying to design the new layout to my website.
You can see it being edited live at my Sandbox Wordpress site. So expect a new theme from me anytime soon, well as soon as i have sorted out the colours.
